Why quality assure your childminding network?
There is an increasing demand for childcare to become quality assured. If your childminding network is quality assured by PACEY Children Come First you'll know it offers the following reassurances:
High-quality childcare Childminders must show they meet certain standards before they can join the network and must take at least three days' training per year, which can give you reassurance that your network is offering the best possible care.
Parental confidence Parents can be confident in the care offered by a network childminder as, once a childminder is offered a place on a network, the coordinator will continue to monitor them through regular visits - including at least one unannounced visit per year.
Good working practices As part of the PACEY Children Come First assessment, the network coordinator must show that the network itself is well-managed and runs effectively - reassuring if you're funding, or working in partnership, with an approved network.
Professional recognition Both your organisation and the network childminders are able to easily show the quality of the childcare service on offer.
